What is it?
Open Journal Systems (OJS) is an open-source software developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) to manage the complete cycle of a scientific journal: manuscript submission, peer review, editing, and publication. It is the standard platform for open-access journals in Latin America and worldwide.
What is it used for?
It allows authors to submit their work, reviewers to conduct confidential evaluations, and editors to coordinate the entire editorial process from a single system. Each actor has their own dashboard with the relevant functions for their role.
