Abstract

As a way of clearing the courts of family, the Law Number
20.286 establishes in Chile, between other measures, the obligatory mediation before the interposition of the demand in certain matters of family. This investigation contemplates a study of the mediation as an alternative
form of resolution of conflicts in family right from diverse perspectives and tries to effect a critical analysis of the incorporation of the mechanism of previous obligatory mediation in our country
