Abstract

The present arti cle gives account of the processes of transiti on of diver se mili tary dictatorships of Hispanic Amer ica to democratic rate happened in the last thre e decades of last century, putting the area of attention in the way since in different countries of the re gion the heavy load fa ced as for violations the human rights inherite d from these dictatorships, and the different degre es indeed and justice reached in each of these processes as the dif culties that arose to reach the above mentioned assignment. special consider ation is done with re gard to the chilean case and the results obtained in this area
