Abstract
Migration today has become a public issue that worries governments, institutions and the public. The increasing migration flows currently occurring internationally, and specifically in Chile, present us with the cultural challenge of integrating multiple and diverse cultures, lifestyles, customs and ways of interaction into host societies. In the present article we carry out a theoretical review of the current state of the study of cultural integration policies, analyzing the case of the Sello Migrante program in the Municipality of Quilicura. This municipality has become a structural destination for immigrants in the Metropolitan Region of Chile, expanding the everyday cultural and social panorama of the population. From this perspective, it is pertinent to investigate the measures that are being adopted to meet the challenges of multiculturalism
