Abstract
This paper discusses the model definition of order for payment procedure in Chile. The legislator confuses the strictu sensu order for payment procedure and the Documented Order for Payment procedure. Choosing the correct procedure, far from being a trivial option, determines the regulation to follow in each scenario. Our civil judges need clarity to avoid missing its number one goal: to obtain an enforced collection order in the shortest time possible.
